Both of the kids have been so excited to be learning things in the scriptures. Yesterday Isaac came home and asked if he could read my scriptures. Of course I said yes. Then I remembered there were a couple sets of unused older sets in the closet upstairs. So I sent Isaac up to get him a set and Audrey asked if she could have some. It just filled me with so much joy to know what they were asking for and the fact that they were so excited about them. <br />
<br />
I sat down and explained to Isaac how to find things in the scriptures. He decided that he would like to start reading the scriptures. So amongst all this new found excitement, I asked Isaac if he would be willing to head up FHE for tonight. He happily accepted. So he picked a scripture to talk about. He chose 1 Nephi 1:5 "Wherefore it came to pass that my father, Lehi, as he went forth prayed unto the Lord, yea, even with all his heart, in behalf of his people." Isaac talked to us about how Lehi was a prophet and that he tried to teach the people of Jerusalem to repent and to follow the ways of the Lord. I sat there and listened to him teaching us, I couldn't help but feel the love of my Savior. Here is this sweet little 6 year old boy with such faith that the scriptures are true. It is definitely a highlight of parenthood. <br />
<br />
Audrey chose the song "Follow the Prophet" which went along perfectly with the lesson. After the lesson was over, Isaac wanted to do an activity. Without any direction from Steve or I he assigned everyone to go sit at the table, he grabbed four pieces of blank paper and went and got the crayon box. He said that everyone was to draw a wicked person and he would draw the prophet. We each glued out people to a stick and acted out the prophet preaching to the people to do what they should and follow the prophet. Here are some pics:<br />

I am so blessed with such a sweet family, I just love them all so much. Heavenly Father has blessed me so much!!!The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-57571826036376194962011-01-10T20:54:00.000-07:002011-01-10T20:54:22.342-07:00Christmas 2010<div style="text-align: center;">I know this is a little late, but better late than never, right? Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, other than the extreme cold. I get my house all decorated and this year we decided to do away with the artificial tree and go get a real one. It was really fun, I enjoyed it so much. The kids also had fun picking it out. We brought it home and put it in the nook in our kitchen. It was kind of a random place for a tree, but it worked out well so I could just sweep the pine needles that fell and when the water spilled out of the tree base I could just wipe it up. Anyway, I just love the feeling of Christmas. Everyone has such a spirit of giving and it is absolutely wonderful.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">This year we started our Christmas celebrations off with the annual Price family party at my mom and dads house. Every year Santa comes to the Price house and visits with each child for a few moments about what he or she would like for Christmas. But after all the kids have had a chance to visit with Santa he talks with them about the true meaning of Christmas. It is really neat, I just love it. He also sings Christmas carols with them. The kids also got to open their gifts from Grandpa, Grandma and Katie. It is always fun to get together with such great family.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Steve's mom makes the best breakfast on Christmas morning and has us all over along with some of the aunts and uncles. We didn't arrive to Grandpa and Grandma Spencer's house until almost 10:30 because the kids were so engrossed in their new Christmas gifts. Steve and Isaac were playing the Wii and Audrey was all tied up with her new Barbie's she received, especially her new doll from the movie Tangled. Rapunzel was on the top item list for Christmas and she was extremely excited to get it from Santa.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

He has been so excited waiting for his tooth to come out. Last night as Steve and I were sitting on the couch I asked him to come over so I could see how wiggly it was. His tooth was barely attached, I could move his tooth in every direction. I knew it was ready to come out and I didn't want Isaac to have to worry about it falling out at school today. So Steve asked him to go upstairs and get the floss. Steve tied it in a small loop to put around Isaac's tooth. Before Steve even had the chance to pull it out, it just fell out. Isaac was so excited he said he was going to his tooth in his baggie in between two pillows for the tooth fairy with an extra pillow on top. He said he didn't want his tooth to break because the tooth fairy builds her house out of the teeth she gets. Then he said he was going to put his finger flash light on so that when the tooth fairy came in, it would turn on and he would catch her. He went to bed completely filled with excitement for the tooth fairy to come.<br />
<br />
This morning while I was in the shower Isaac came in and threw open the door and said "Today is the best day of my life." I asked him why and he said because the tooth fairy came to visit. He had gotten a dollar in his bag where his tooth was and now his tooth was gone. He then opened the bag and said "Whoa, I got TWO dollars!!" It was the cutest thing ever. Then I asked him if he caught the tooth fairy last night. He said he decided he wanted it to be a surprise and he did not want to see her. It made me laugh. It reminded me that it is such a blessing to have these sweet children that I get to take care of.<br />
<br />
The last time Isaac lost a tooth (which has been almost a year ago) Steve was in young mens and they had gone for ice cream. Isaac was with Steve, and the Bishop offered to buy Isaac an ice cream cone. He slurpped the ice cream through his hole where his tooth had fallen out and love it. So in lieu of that we will be taking him for ice cream tonight. I absolutely love my sweet kids, they are what makes everything worth while.The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-62350610583335898782010-11-11T15:14:00.000-07:002010-11-11T15:14:55.682-07:00Surprise!!! My sweet husband has been planning a birthday surprise for me. I had some suspicions as to what he might be up to, but I really wasn't sure what he had up his sleeve. Yesterday when I got home from work, Steve informed me I banned from going upstairs at all. My limits were to stay in the kitchen and down. I happen to have a pretty significant sense of smell, so as I walked in the door I could smell something. But I didn't want to give the fun away, so I played along. <br />
We ate dinner, made Allie some birthday cards from the kids, and then I headed off for Young Women. I got a text from Steve about 9:30 during my board meeting. In his text he said that the kids had waited up for me and needed to go to bed, but that he needed me to come home asap. Anyway, I left my meeting and when I got home I heard Isaac say in the hallway "Hurry, shut the door, it will be more fun if the door is closed." I was so excited to see the unveiling of the surprise. So Steve took me upstairs, he looked at me and said "I hope I am not in trouble" and then opened the door. Both of the kids with the biggest smiles on their faces said "Surprise!!" They were sitting on my bed which was now accompanied by a new headboard, two nightstands, a cute black drape curtain wound around an iron rod, and to top it all of a new paint color. My bedroom was completely transformed by some magical helpers. <br />
I was so excited. I never would have guessed that one. Steve did a wonderful job and was very tasteful with what he had done. He gave me some grief because just the other day I was telling him that we are never going to have a nice bed set. I was teasing him because for our 1st year anniversary (nearly 8 years ago) he had told me I could have a vanity. To this day, there is no vanity and so I like to tease Steve about it. It's kind of fun. To his credit, there have been many things he has given to me and done for me that far surpass the vanity that would probably sit idle. Shhhh, don't tell Steve that last part.....<br />
I was overwhelmed and very blessed to have such a sweet husband and family members who I know contributed to getting the work done. There are a lot of things that Steve enjoys doing and painting is not really at the top of his list. But he knew that it would make me very happy and he was right. Thanks Steve for being mine. I have always loved the saying "you may not be perfect, but you're perfect for me." I love the bedroom overhaul and I am excited to add some fun accessories. Thanks to my sweet kids who make things so much worth the while. The excitement and the looks on their faces when they showed me the room was just priceless. Isaac and Audrey have been telling me all week "Mom, I know what you want for your Birthday" and I would say "What's that?" and they would reply "A happy family." Apparently I have said that a lot, but it really is true. The older I get the less material things matter. I am so grateful to have my beautiful family and I hope they all know how much I love them and appreciate them. <br />
Pictures of the bedroom coming soon....The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-28269148557498092532010-10-31T10:15:00.000-06:002010-10-31T10:15:38.370-06:00Happy Halloween!!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIpjbXmuMsBiLAMac_-W5D_sCgMrDzGT5Bq5fW_hQwsv40MEHaHPTVMRQrWuQIQYOSZMwyWItQ1ysUOJNuVs4U-sEwzDEmFK_S-wfkVCb89nqpnaZ1zbnL5D08tqaQ3B8795cmkuWRO5I/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIpjbXmuMsBiLAMac_-W5D_sCgMrDzGT5Bq5fW_hQwsv40MEHaHPTVMRQrWuQIQYOSZMwyWItQ1ysUOJNuVs4U-sEwzDEmFK_S-wfkVCb89nqpnaZ1zbnL5D08tqaQ3B8795cmkuWRO5I/s1600/2.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I know it has been FOREVER since I have blogged, but life just seems to never slow down. This year for Halloween Isaac decided to be a super hero, Iron Man, and Audrey went with the classic princess costume, Snow White. I also thought it would be fun to dress up this year and go a little outside my comfort zone. So my awesome friend Suzanne helped me out and let me borrow a costume. So I went as a pirate. Thanks Suzanne! I really tried to talk Steve into dressing up with me, but he just wouldn't go for it. Anyway, here are some pics from Halloween. It was hard to get really great pictures because the kids wouldn't quit running around for me to catch one.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNs29NlzNblsEYpVGbAlJ2IfVGYpfnlu6IoPeqjm7-TfUWX6wzCuXMbrMN1Z90dVggStaTUKvyfp4JccU6tYpJm2GGgq_4DsCTr-LKkgB0bkHGDzbGeS5qjFikNeis2YZaUwyHWDc-2Wc/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNs29NlzNblsEYpVGbAlJ2IfVGYpfnlu6IoPeqjm7-TfUWX6wzCuXMbrMN1Z90dVggStaTUKvyfp4JccU6tYpJm2GGgq_4DsCTr-LKkgB0bkHGDzbGeS5qjFikNeis2YZaUwyHWDc-2Wc/s1600/1.jpg" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We started the fun off by going to our ward carnival. </div>About a month ago, we had family pictures taken with the Spencer side of the family. Saturday we were able to get the CD of the pictures. I was so excited about how they turned out, they were taken in a field up by Highway 89 and it was the perfect day for pictures. As painful as it may be to try and keep kids clean and presentable before pictures, it was all worth it. I am so blessed to have such a sweet family. I look around and see people who are less fortunate than us and thank Heavenly Father for all that we have. <br />

It was so fun and the best part was we had some cousins, Grandma Spencer, and aunt Tami join us. Steve's sister, Tami, and her family are in the process of moving from Hawaii to Texas. During the transition period she and her two sweet kids, Kalia and Grady, are staying here in Utah until their belongings are shipped over from Hawaii. So Audrey was way excited that they were able to be a part of her birthday.<br />
<br />
I had never been to the Kangaroo Zoo, but we decided to give it a try for Audrey's birthday activity and it turned out great. It is a place in North Salt Lake where the kids can just play on bouncers and the inflatable toys, and they also have galactic miniature golf. It was a huge hit.<br />

On Monday, our beautiful baby girl turned 4 years old. Happy birthday Audrey, we love you so much!<br />
<br />
Sunday we celebrated with the family at the house, Audrey chose a Barbie and the three musketeers cake. She was so excited.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl7e-9gf5Ik2L7vACBJpMqtVFCTcXFBMUtu2-DSjcnscFAJgjVW_p_uNFNiAJXGz0qNtbt5-f4LwAolmyR29xFqwbGnmmw-BI0GNkUGS4bAA6VhdmLmYKizC_zvbPcTz9bMeIRLrEV_2o/s1600/Audrey+4th+birthday+037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl7e-9gf5Ik2L7vACBJpMqtVFCTcXFBMUtu2-DSjcnscFAJgjVW_p_uNFNiAJXGz0qNtbt5-f4LwAolmyR29xFqwbGnmmw-BI0GNkUGS4bAA6VhdmLmYKizC_zvbPcTz9bMeIRLrEV_2o/s320/Audrey+4th+birthday+037.JPG" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">This was Audrey waiting to dive into her cake, every time I told her not to touch it, she would get so upset. You can see from the picture above, there was already one finger had touched the cake. I love this picture, it tells a story all on its own.....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibdwpnHGFrctUv10Nx30RsXm-UFYTH4y0FR_7llKfvFGGCBfLodbKDuiAgXY7DAEFQms0lufBB4mqxqrC5Wpi-HYH2p7NcABpUPuLkWcIcHViHKtrxrREm_W1RxdAqlYdQW-7EzIXxSY0/s1600/Audrey+4th+birthday+040.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibdwpnHGFrctUv10Nx30RsXm-UFYTH4y0FR_7llKfvFGGCBfLodbKDuiAgXY7DAEFQms0lufBB4mqxqrC5Wpi-HYH2p7NcABpUPuLkWcIcHViHKtrxrREm_W1RxdAqlYdQW-7EzIXxSY0/s320/Audrey+4th+birthday+040.JPG" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
Steve and I decided it was time for Audrey to graduate the toddler bed and move into something bigger. So we went to RC Willey (of course) and bought her a full size bed. We used the headboard and footboard from the crib the kids had when they were younger and gave her a cute new bed for her birthday. <br />
Below are are couple pics of the new bed. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7sA2JIG-WflsUNXQc3IVxFW8HtGkLI67S2N7G5USM2z1WotqDxsE_0KX6Jns_dWz2V5U32lm5OsO6Ofo1T46boMlen0v5qFJRbDHf8Q9xKExx0t4ISNi3kiVhEyKTqLTRLG-5v4onKEU/s1600/Audrey+4th+birthday+048.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7sA2JIG-WflsUNXQc3IVxFW8HtGkLI67S2N7G5USM2z1WotqDxsE_0KX6Jns_dWz2V5U32lm5OsO6Ofo1T46boMlen0v5qFJRbDHf8Q9xKExx0t4ISNi3kiVhEyKTqLTRLG-5v4onKEU/s320/Audrey+4th+birthday+048.JPG" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">The kids thought it would be fun to go to "sleep" in the new bed. I had such a hard time finding the bedding for Audrey, but after endless searching I found this bedding at JC Penney. I did have to order it online, and I was a little skeptical, but everything turned out fantastic.The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-20140592100835797842010-02-16T17:03:00.000-07:002010-02-16T17:03:29.746-07:00How time flies....So it is official, today is mine & Steve's 8 year anniversary!!! It is crazy to think that 8 years ago today, our cute little family began. I want Steve to know how much I love him. He is absolutely amazing and he never fails to tell me how much he loves me. Chances are he will never read this posting because he has so many other things going on in life. However, I still want to express my love and gratitude for him. He is absolutely amazing and he is perfect for me. Thanks babe, for being mine. :) <br />
<br />
I am also extremely blessed to have two of the sweetest, most wonderful children in the world. Valentines Day was fun this year because the kids had so much fun getting Valentines and giving them to both Steve and I. In turn it was fun for Steve and I to give the kids a little Valentines gift. Saturday night Steve took me out for a Valentines dinner. We agreed not to get each other gifts, because our Anniversary is close to Valentines and we are going on a little getaway to St. George this coming weekend. Anyway, before we went to dinner we first went and saw our sweet little nephew, Ammon. He is such a beautiful baby and boy is he a fighter. He finally came home last week after over 9 weeks at Primary Childrens. He has been there since he was born, he was born with a heart disease, HLHS, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. It was absolutely amazing to be able to hold such a sweet little spirit. I hope he knows how much he is loved. After that we went to get the kids Valentines things which was fun. We tried to take the focus off candy alone and got them a couple other things. Then we went to dinner at Corbin's. Steve had made reservations, but did not tell me where we were going. I love surprises, it was so much fun. <br />
<br />
Anyway, here are some pics from Valentines morning. The kids absolutely loved it! <br />

I have determined that her skin must be as delicate as her tender little heart. Last Saturday I spent the day at home preparing for our wards Great to be eight program and taking care of some of the things on my "to do" list. One of those to do items was laundry, which is a never ending process. I had just bought a new bottle of laundry detergent the day before because I knew I was low on detergent and wouldn't have enough to do all the laundry. Anyway, I bought the same brand I have always bought, but this had Downy fabric softener in the detergent as well. Apparently Audrey is allergic. Saturday night we put her in a clean pair of pajamas which had been washed with the detergent and she woke up Sunday morning looking like a leopard. She had hives all over. They were all the way up and down her arms, legs, stomachm back, everywhere!!! Since I knew she was allergic to mosquitoes, at first I thought maybe it was an insect bite and she was allergic to whatever it was had bitten her. So we gave her benadryl and the hives went away completely within about an hour. But there was no bite visible. Then later she broke out again when we put pajamas on her again, this time almost instantly. (The dress she had worn to church was not washed in the new detergent.) <br />
<br />
Wednesday night we were having dinner and Audrey said "Mommy, I'm itchy." So I looked and sure enough, more hives. So I gave her the benadryl and about 30 seconds later she said "Mommy, they are still there." It was pretty cute. I can see how benadryl can work wonders, but let's face it, it is not magic. <br />
<br />
Now that we know she has this allergy, I have bought a baby detergent for delicate skin to wash her clothes in. The hives are not near as bad, but she still continues to get them. The nurse at the pediatricians office said that even after switching detergents the hives could continue for 4-6 weeks. This morning when she woke up again, she had hives on her face, legs, and arms. Poor thing.... hopefully these hives don't stay for the full 4-6 weeks.The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-62159312585674211012010-01-28T08:56:00.000-07:002010-01-28T08:56:19.982-07:00Better late than never.....Hello everyone, yes it has been over 2 months since my last posting. Sorry about that. Things just haven't seemed to slow down at all. But, things have gotten better, so I guess that is all that counts. For those of you who don't already know, Steve is working back at RC Willey. The work load at Redman was little to nothing, which as you can imagine his paychecks would match that. So after a while of looking, he came across an ad that RC Willey was hiring. He called down and spoke to management and a few days later he was re-hired. So he has been working there for a couple weeks now. It also happens to be the end of the term for Steve, so he has had loads of homework and finals to do. I am so grateful to have such a great husband who gives 100% effort to make life better for our family. He is absolutely wonderful and I don't know what I would do without him. <br />
<br />
Isaac is doing awesome in kindergarten, in fact now that Isaac is learning how to read, he tries to read everything. Yesterday Steve and the kids came and picked me up to go out to lunch together. We went to Taco Time and as I was looking over the menu, the kids meals seemed a little pricey to me. So I asked Isaac "What do you want?" He said "I want a kids meal with a hard taco." Due to the fact that a kids meal was nearly $5.00 I said "Honey, I don't know if they have kids meals," thinking I could just play it off. Then Isaac said "Yes they do mom, see up there under the purple sign it says Kids Meals." Well, I was stuck and therefore we got the kids meal. Anyway, he is doing really well and is always anxious what the next school day will bring. Whether it is computer day, library day, P.E. or his favorite is free friday when they get to pick what centers they get to do. <br />
<br />
Audrey is looking up to her big brother and is ready for pre-school. I haven't signed her up yet, but I probably ought to get cracking on that, I know they fill up quickly. At night she likes to "read" stories to me and she always asks when she can get a backpack like Isaac and go to school like Isaac. She is growing up so quickly, they both are. I can't believe that my baby girl will be 4 years old in just a couple of months. Where has the time gone? <br />
<br />
I am still working full time, it is a huge challenge and makes things crazy for our little family, but it has to be done. I just have to keep reminding myself that it is a blessing that I am able to help provide for my family, because we certainly would be in a different place if I weren't working. The hardest part is when Audrey cries in the morning when she doesn't want me to leave and the days when Isaac asks if I would please take him to school. I am sure that if I were not a working mom, I would probably take those things for granted. But those are the things that I treasure. I am very grateful for my wonderful sister in law, Suzi, and my mother in law, Kaye that are so wonderful to help take care of my kids while I am working. I don't know what I would do without such a wonderful family! <br />
<br />
I will try and post some new pics soon, we did get family pictures taken back in November, but I wasn't super happy with them. All in all, we are doing pretty well, and I want to say thank you to all those who have helped make things a little easier for us.The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-68888094088132756392009-11-11T12:10:00.002-07:002009-11-11T13:08:56.085-07:00Growing up way too fast!!So it is official, my little munchkins are not so little anymore. Yesterday when Steve and the kids got home Isaac told Steve that he had a loose tooth. Steve figured it was probably just starting to wiggle a little. Much to his surprise (and mine) he wiggled Isaac's tooth and it was just hanging by a thread. As silly as it sounds when Steve called to tell me that Isaac's tooth was about ready to come out, I said "don't pull it yet." Steve wondered why and I told him, "I don't want to miss his first tooth falling out." Crazy as it sounds, for some reason that seemed like a huge mile-marker. If he is losing his baby teeth, that means he really is growing up. <br /><br />He was pretty excited to lose his first tooth. After this happened last night, Steve had young men and I had a church meeting to go to, so Steve came home to take the kids with him to rake leaves for a service project. After they were finished, they were rewarded with ice cream cones and the bishop gave Isaac his first dollar for his tooth falling out. Isaac absolutely adores Bishop Downs and he was very proud of his dollar.<br /><br />Later, before bed, Isaac was sure to put his tooth in a small Ziploc bag and place it under his pillow in hopes of the tooth fairy coming. When he woke up this morning, he found under his pillow a new Spiderman toothbrush, with matching Spidermatch mouthwash (it turns your mouth blue to make sure he brushes well), and of course a dollar. He was so excited. He came in and after he showed me what the tooth fairy had brought him, he said "Mom, the real trick is how the tooth fairy put it under my pillow." I told him "The tooth fairy must have a magic wand." He agreed, then said "I think she came and saw that my room was Spiderman and that I like Spiderman, so that is why she gave me a Spiderman toothbrush." I couldn't help but smile. I realized that these are the great joys of being a parent, being able to see that spark in your childs eyes and all the joy and excitement they find.<br /><br />I think Audrey was not so sure about Isaac's tooth falling out, but being the cute little princess she is, when I took a picture of Isaac with his tooth gone, she wanted a picture too. So here are a couple pictures from last night. FYI...Isaac's eyes are a bit watery because he has had a cold. <br /> <br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifEd44GuhHTcTyWUlTZhI7Zxmxn45Gy8JbZ6UoMqcSU08UA780wvDeULWpKcvxZ5qJQKE9_fHVEsSgXadoUtYdq7kUTlDY9Z_WaXab9hs9Othofussr8O1oaFnE2ZM0qujcKMbJ0nJgG8/s1600-h/Isaac's+1st+missing+tooth+005.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifEd44GuhHTcTyWUlTZhI7Zxmxn45Gy8JbZ6UoMqcSU08UA780wvDeULWpKcvxZ5qJQKE9_fHVEsSgXadoUtYdq7kUTlDY9Z_WaXab9hs9Othofussr8O1oaFnE2ZM0qujcKMbJ0nJgG8/s320/Isaac's+1st+missing+tooth+005.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5402940426428462114" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikOHPz2pXZxIi7rQmjgOd7ssvntDJMK-DwLNWJTEGaKt4j6f4jtbdSmPyjSJkGNQBaTmPQIFbUWkkkMKh83v7lLwYEDPGxQ4KmQcFt5AiOLqAeDJ8cpC1fl287pdE8GFkWiObgCHGd_WQ/s1600-h/Isaac's+1st+missing+tooth+004.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikOHPz2pXZxIi7rQmjgOd7ssvntDJMK-DwLNWJTEGaKt4j6f4jtbdSmPyjSJkGNQBaTmPQIFbUWkkkMKh83v7lLwYEDPGxQ4KmQcFt5AiOLqAeDJ8cpC1fl287pdE8GFkWiObgCHGd_WQ/s320/Isaac's+1st+missing+tooth+004.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5402940421372069650" /></a>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-70243965955814310692009-11-03T15:21:00.002-07:002009-11-03T15:42:58.616-07:00It's a busy life!!As I am sitting at work today about to bust at the seams, I figured I would do something productive with my down time. Things have pretty much been crazy as ever lately and it is all due to a large combination of things. I have been having a daily guilt trip on the fact that I am a working mom. It has the hardest 3 weeks of my entire life. You know the saying "you don't know what you have until it's gone," well that pretty well sums it up. Steve's mom has been an absolute lifesaver in helping out watching the kids while Steve and I are at work. A few weeks ago she had back surgery to replace a disk in her back. Needless to say, the recovery has not been quick. Shortly after that, Steve's sister was admitted to the U of U hospital due to complications with her pregnancy. We are praying for her and her sweet baby boy as she is on bed rest at the hospital. We hope that they both come out of this as good as can be expected. The details of that would take a while to explain, so I won't elaborate on that. To top it off, this week is finals for Steve at school and I leave Thursday to go Atlanta, Georgia for work. The effort to find people to help watch the kids has been exhausting and they are always somewhere different. If you saw my schedule at work showing where they go, for how long, and who takes Isaac to school and back, you would laugh. I would like to tell all those people who have helped and those who are still helping me and my family out a huge THANK YOU!!!!! I could not do this without you and I am so grateful to have such great people in my life. At this time that I have felt that the world is just crushing down on me, so many people have given me uplifting words and thoughts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-34787292272012299912009-08-31T16:57:00.004-06:002009-08-31T20:55:17.643-06:00School's InSo I have decided that life is not going to slow down any time soon. Isaac officially started Kindergarten today. It is hard to believe that in the blink of an eye he is growing up and soon will be baptized, then all the milestones to follow after that. He was so excited to go to school today, he loves his new teacher, Mrs. Strawn. She is great with the kids, and the best part for Isaac I think was recess. He was so excited that at recess he got to go out and play with his friends. He has many kids he already knows in his class. A few kids from the ward and he also has his cousin Brinlee. Then he has his other cousin Kylie who is not in the same class. But they are all AM so at recess they get to play. He looks forward to P.E., computer and trips to the library. Along with Isaac starting school, Steve kicked off another term at college. I am worried this one will be a long one, as he has ALL of his courses on campus Monday through Thursday, then he will need other nights to get homework done. So I am hoping that he can keep his spirits up this term and hang in there. Unfortunately, that means that we will have to sacrifice much family time over the next 12 weeks. But we will all try and make the best of it. Good luck babe, we love you!!The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-20306052621764755612009-08-22T14:17:00.006-06:002009-08-22T15:36:25.338-06:00Riding a horse at the Syracuse corralEarlier this week John and Suzi invited us to go down to an old rodeo corral in Syracuse to ride a horse. Audrey was super excited about it. She could hardly wait to ride the horse. Isaac on the other hand, was a little hesitant. He is a lot like his mom in the way that he is a little skeptical of things and experiencing the adventurous things in life. I admit I am a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to things that are out of my hands. Anyway, the family had a lot of fun. The saddle on the horse was a saddle that Grandma Spencer had won in 1966 while barrel racing. So after each of the kids had a turn Grandma could hardly wait to get on that horse. It was a lot of fun to see everyone having so much fun. And if you are all still wondering, NO I did not get on the horse. Pretty sad that my two little ones have more guts than I do, lol. But I had just as much fun watching them have fun. I never believed my mom when she would tell me that when I was younger, but now I understand the joy that she felt watching me and my siblings grow up doing the activities we enjoyed. I love you munchkins!!<br /><br /><div><embed src="http://apps.rockyou.com/rockyou.swf?instanceid=142315557&ver=102906" quality="high" salign="lt" width="426" height="320" wmode="transparent" name="rockyou" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"/></embed><br><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/?type=slideshow&refid=142315557"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/logo.gif"></a><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/slideshow_create.php?refid=142315557&source=cyo"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/create_own.gif"></a><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/show_my_gallery.php?instanceid=142315557"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/view_all.gif"></a></div>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-43458490600130826742009-08-22T14:10:00.002-06:002009-08-22T14:14:18.441-06:00Fun at Tara's work partyA couple of weeks ago, we had a work party at my boss's house. It was a lot of fun. They had rented a bouncehouse for the kids and had a monkey golf tournament for the adults. The kids had a blast and made lots of friends. The monkey golf was fun, and somehow, Steve and I won. I give all the credit to Steve, however the winning point was my first and ONLY point. YES!!! Steve and I won a gift card to Corbin's. So we will enjoy every minute of the winnings. <br /><br /><div><embed src="http://apps.rockyou.com/rockyou.swf?instanceid=142313014&ver=102906" quality="high" scale="noscale" salign="lt" width="600" height="200" wmode="transparent" name="rockyou" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"/></embed><br><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/?type=slideshow&refid=142313014"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/logo.gif"></a><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/slideshow_create.php?refid=142313014&source=cyo"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/create_own.gif"></a><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/show_my_gallery.php?instanceid=142313014"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/view_all.gif"></a></div>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-82985865374401432152009-08-22T14:00:00.005-06:002009-08-22T14:08:22.250-06:00The Ogden TreehouseLast week Steve took Audrey to the Daddy/Daughter Campout so me, Isaac, and Grandma went to the Ogden Treehouse. I have heard from many of my friends that it was a very fun place to go. So we thought we would try it out. Needless to say, Isaac had a lot of fun. There were so many things to do. At first he was a little overwhelmed and not sure where to start. But quickly he started going from place to place having fun.<br /> <br /><div><embed src="http://apps.rockyou.com/rockyou.swf?instanceid=142313669&ver=102906" quality="high" salign="lt" width="426" height="320" wmode="transparent" name="rockyou" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"/></embed><br><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/?type=slideshow&refid=142313669"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/logo.gif"></a><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/slideshow_create.php?refid=142313669&source=cyo"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/create_own.gif"></a><a style="padding-right:1px;" target="_BLANK" href="http://www.rockyou.com/show_my_gallery.php?instanceid=142313669"><img style="border:0px;" src="http://apps.rockyou.com/link/view_all.gif"></a></div>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-26627174168982209612009-08-10T20:37:00.002-06:002009-08-10T20:51:52.903-06:00It's been a whileSorry to everyone who has been asking about the blog. Something was seriously wrong with it (as you could tell, if you tried looking at our blog). I am not sure what happened to it, but anytime you tried to view the blog all but pictures were blacked out. <div>Anyway, I thought I would post an update on the family. We are all doing really well. Steve was hired permanently by North American on Monday, August 3rd. I was way excited, I have been waiting for this for a long time. :) He is almost finished with his second term of school. He is doing awesome and we are so proud of him for going back to school. He is looking forward to the Fall of 2010 when he will get his Associates in Accounting and then will move on to earn his Bachelors. He is busy as ever and tries to balance work, school, and family. It is a challenge, but knowing the reward keeps us all moving. I am still working in Kaysville, some days are better than others. Nevertheless, I am grateful to have a job right now to help things along while Steve is going to school. Isaac starts Kindergarten in just two short weeks. He is so excited. He has a few friends from the ward who will be in his class and also his cousin Brinlee. We have yet to go shopping for school clothes, but I am sure we will get there. Audrey still has a mind of her own. She is going through a stage where she doesn't think she has to use the potty all the time. It is so frustrating. We keep promising her that if she can fill her sticker chart (which has 30 days on it) that she can have a big girl bed. She was doing awesome until Steve and I went away for the weekend a few weeks ago and then I guess she thought she didn't have to anymore. Anyway, long story short she is doing pretty good as long as you tell her to go. Isn't it funny the things you talk about when you are a mom, lol.</div><div>So there you have it, an update on what is going on with the family. I will really try better to keep more current on the blog now that i have re-created it. Love you all and I love reading your blogs!! </div>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-42516328067291354922009-06-25T21:06:00.000-06:002009-07-12T17:35:07.995-06:00Isaac's 5th Birthday<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3IGn_8UgnJxIT6H-FXLPK524qDDr4Mlnes0d72oDr1mBcIwlZujlSU8ezt74G27wzOS3RF6W-WgyxF9yR5Wi6Ekgog9HLhMxxTwTjQW6cs3yKyEfsuHyygNgKLSYIZ6dLS5h4gdqIoCs/s1600-h/Isaac+5th+Birthday+038.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3IGn_8UgnJxIT6H-FXLPK524qDDr4Mlnes0d72oDr1mBcIwlZujlSU8ezt74G27wzOS3RF6W-WgyxF9yR5Wi6Ekgog9HLhMxxTwTjQW6cs3yKyEfsuHyygNgKLSYIZ6dLS5h4gdqIoCs/s320/Isaac+5th+Birthday+038.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351481917888208050" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#0000EE;"><br /></span></div><div>Last Saturday Isaac turned the big "5." So Steve took Isaac out for the morning while I was busy at work at home re-doing his bedroom in Spiderman. When they came home I asked Isaac to go up to his bedroom. He looked at me strangely wondering why I was asking him, but when he opened his door he soon found out. He looked at me and said "Just what I always wanted, a Spiderman room." He was so excited, it was great to see such joy on his face. All in all I think he had an awesome birthday. Happy Birthday son, we love you!!!</div></div></div>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-63997259237896292132009-06-06T21:12:00.000-06:002009-07-12T17:35:08.017-06:00A day with the family at the HAFB Air Show<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN2XNX4rJQZxdXs1RI_aIRzwmKZp8Qopfcp2IKVr2gdvxBmTowoBev2XUa1M_B1peYhoJx_YuxEILxJbDxc3N6lZEpi4DGTezlT9zZSiQoCAhaeouqmvQItTCdNZ0X2V07lsMa2lvReXc/s1600-h/June+2009+096.JPG" style="text-decoration: none;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); ">Today we went to the air show at Hill Air force Base. It was a lot of fun, tons of walking, but still it was great. Having lived here all my life you would have thought I have been to an air show before, but I never have been. We saw all sorts of military planes, trucks and helicopters. Then we watched different airplanes perform the air show, it was so much fun to see them. The performances were absolutely amazing. After the show was over we were amongst hundreds (I think even thousands) of people waiting for the UTA shuttle buses. When traffic was at an absolute standstill we decided to walk off of the base. We walked at least 3 or 4 miles and still beat the shuttle buses out. Then we had Kaye come meet us at Ligori's for dinner and then headed back to the trax station to pick up the car. Every one of us are exhausted, but it was a great day!!!</span><br /><br /></a><div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN2XNX4rJQZxdXs1RI_aIRzwmKZp8Qopfcp2IKVr2gdvxBmTowoBev2XUa1M_B1peYhoJx_YuxEILxJbDxc3N6lZEpi4DGTezlT9zZSiQoCAhaeouqmvQItTCdNZ0X2V07lsMa2lvReXc/s200/June+2009+096.JPG" style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5344420353925049186" />Steve with the kids in front of a helicopter.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj1uYNorgRO6o3Fkv1Q-bN6bpjgmTHOIIj_XoDqZo38v4FF63am7dLEzI4lVxIG8wwWZw-7eDKzDnm9gLptBSsc5hvYtw3M1g0W1GE2Y7QhQRQzt-xCVcEJjxsiO2IIQRiT9H1wmxjiz0/s1600-h/June+2009+074.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj1uYNorgRO6o3Fkv1Q-bN6bpjgmTHOIIj_XoDqZo38v4FF63am7dLEzI4lVxIG8wwWZw-7eDKzDnm9gLptBSsc5hvYtw3M1g0W1GE2Y7QhQRQzt-xCVcEJjxsiO2IIQRiT9H1wmxjiz0/s200/June+2009+074.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5344420348165663266" /></a></div><div><br />Tara, Don (Grandpa), Isaac and Audrey in front of one of many planes.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxfo3zdM2oOnGoF8CWivfS1zJcnHajWbfC5SQLqziLVPwCFiEcpoPnFJnRFhcxLKCNP_7DE9SIv_PGnBmc_xKdCqBakIVpkalUDMnfbvam-zBSXoQyzyYcBNTovAw_FsbqtektVimDpAw/s1600-h/June+2009+067.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxfo3zdM2oOnGoF8CWivfS1zJcnHajWbfC5SQLqziLVPwCFiEcpoPnFJnRFhcxLKCNP_7DE9SIv_PGnBmc_xKdCqBakIVpkalUDMnfbvam-zBSXoQyzyYcBNTovAw_FsbqtektVimDpAw/s200/June+2009+067.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5344420343195936434" /></a>Isaac inside of a huge combat rescue plane. I thought it was such a cute idea, that I thought I would do the same. So here it goes:</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: georgia;">The other day I was doing Audrey's hair and since she has naturally curly hair I always put mousse in her hair and then hairspray it. Well Audrey is going through this stage where she does not like her curls. So while we were standing in front of the mirror doing her hair she said "Mommy I don't want curl's" and I said "Well Audrey, Heavenly Father gave you pretty curls and you can't get rid of them." She replied "But mommy, I don't want curls." So I said "Audrey maybe you can ask Heavenly Father why he gave you curls." Then Isaac chimed in and said "Yeah Audrey, maybe when you are resurrected you can ask Him." After I got over my initial shock from how quickly Isaac thought about that, I could not get over how funny it was that he even thought about that. I guess sometimes when you don't think they are listening, they really are. </span>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-25046142410200979262009-06-02T12:00:00.000-06:002009-07-12T17:35:08.046-06:00An update on Molly Last night we went to Jensen Park with John and Suzi. It was so much fun, we took the dogs to get some exercise and play together. Yup, all three dogs: Molly, Lucas, and Sophie. It was so much fun. After we walked around the park for a little while we stopped at one of the ponds and let the dogs fetch a floating toy that John had. First Lucas went, then Sophie, and then Molly. We weren't sure how Molly would do because we have only had her a few days, but we thought we would see if she would go into the water. So after she watched Lucas and Sophie retrieve the toy, then it was her turn. Steve put the toy a few feet out and Molly went for it. Only she was very dainty about it, just like a lady. LOL. Then the more she felt comfortable Steve threw it out farther. By the end of the night Molly was going out there to get it pretty good. The kids had fun watching the dogs swim in the pond. It was a lot of fun and just a good wholesome family activity. I think that having Molly around is going to make me more active, because she sure has a lot of energy. <div> Also this weekend Steve built a dog run for Molly on the side of the house. Courtesy of my dad, he had some extra materials from his vinyl fence that he put up at his house. So Molly has a nice size dog run on the side of the house and all we had to spend was about $45 for the gate hardware. That definately beats a couple hundred bucks for a chainlink dog run from Petsmart. So now I won't feel so bad when she is by herself all day while Steve and I are at work. We do have one more thing to do in her dog run before I will let her stay in there. And that is to build some sort of barrier around the central air unit. I do not want Molly to chew at the wires or damage the A/C unit. That would be really, really bad. So today she is in her kennel while we are at work. But Molly is kennel trained which is awesome, so she is great to stay in there. </div><div> So there you have it, a big long post about what we did with Molly over the weekend. Isaac really likes her because Molly will follow him around the yard. And as for Audrey, I think Molly is growing on her. She has always had a fear of large dogs, so it is taking time to ease her into Molly, but the other day Molly was giving her kisses and Audrey just giggled (after she got over the initial fear). Also the only casualties we have had with Molly chewing things was a sippy cup and part of Isaac's T-ball bat. So that is not bad. We will see what this week holds......</div>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-44855482861020933982009-05-28T11:16:00.000-06:002009-07-12T17:35:08.065-06:00Isaac's graduation<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYgA2N4w0d_CYNwlwUtEO_StVjr1ndWWBhtp_4IBOWAE0RXBcYmKC1bpH8tPLBQgxgdErdVZMa3xDOIV7eC6B9LOaGOBMoVjcy6nzdJVh6qfwOoINA56bwrPpYN7iwZ3CytgpYVbFuG74/s1600-h/May+2009+010.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYgA2N4w0d_CYNwlwUtEO_StVjr1ndWWBhtp_4IBOWAE0RXBcYmKC1bpH8tPLBQgxgdErdVZMa3xDOIV7eC6B9LOaGOBMoVjcy6nzdJVh6qfwOoINA56bwrPpYN7iwZ3CytgpYVbFuG74/s320/May+2009+010.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340926325338632594" /></a>Before graduation I asked Isaac to go out front so I could take some pictures of him on his graduation day. He is such a smart boy, it amazes me all the things he has learned. He is ready and anxious to start Kindergarten in the fall. He had to memorize a part for his program and he whizzed right through it. Thanks to Miss Amber for all your hard work, you have been a great teacher to Isaac for the past two years. And also a HUGE thanks to Grandma Spencer, we couldn't do it without you. He has really been wanting one. He went the other night and looked at her and just loved her. So I told him that he could get her as long as she was an outside dog. Anyway, this is Molly, the newest member of our family. We went and got her last night (May 27) and I immediately just fell in love with her. She is so sweet and I just love her to death. I never thought I would feel that way about a dog. Anyway, she is a pure bred black lab and is 1 1/2 years old. She is well mannered and very playful. We absolutely love her!!! Audrey still needs to get use to her, but Audrey has always been cautious around dogs. <div><br /></div><div><br /><div><br /></div></div></div>The Spencer Familyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07808236314473569323noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2860825026189408501.post-63133006517481384482009-05-12T22:35:00.000-06:002009-07-12T17:35:08.075-06:00<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ9ijSjNT257fdTdhLNr4BA-tm01ycvfeOYYuyaa8IYZD5C7qCpIUr-1h8ZucFKS_IkxmP6NcNdIrn0k8bNieLHH7fAsSw9xVucP9P2OO-T3v0HocAu8RWpWO6F3iD-Ki79FLNA7Y1RlQ/s1600-h/April-May+2009+098.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ9ijSjNT257fdTdhLNr4BA-tm01ycvfeOYYuyaa8IYZD5C7qCpIUr-1h8ZucFKS_IkxmP6NcNdIrn0k8bNieLHH7fAsSw9xVucP9P2OO-T3v0HocAu8RWpWO6F3iD-Ki79FLNA7Y1RlQ/s320/April-May+2009+098.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335163535600365186" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVc1ymDA9aSkXdIKI186GUXZLeGDBq9XoCwREpLNl2iPg_eLPFEBGcsxPm94iKMOhglt6HGMt5rqpnnqavx4ZB8eYzAZcm4gvFJlzVO16JY0PbwIj1KUH5u963KQgrB97tceim3d5YP1o/s1600-h/April-May+2009+093.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVc1ymDA9aSkXdIKI186GUXZLeGDBq9XoCwREpLNl2iPg_eLPFEBGcsxPm94iKMOhglt6HGMt5rqpnnqavx4ZB8eYzAZcm4gvFJlzVO16JY0PbwIj1KUH5u963KQgrB97tceim3d5YP1o/s320/April-May+2009+093.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335163530391951874" /></a><br />Last night for family night we went to the new Sparetime in Syracuse.
